How is the challan processed?
The DDO follows these steps to deposit a recovery:
- Download the challan in PDF and fill in the head of account and employee details.
- Enter the recovered amount in figures and words.
- Sign and stamp the challan as DDO.
- Deposit the amount along with the challan at the designated NBP / treasury counter.
- Attach the bank-acknowledged copy to the bill file for record.
